Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore are easily among the best golf architects today. Their Sand Hills course (Nebraska Sand Hills not North Carolina Sandhills) has rightfully been ranked among the very best courses built in the past 50 years.
The Pinehurst area is extremely fortunate that these design partners have turned their attention here. They have been comissioned to build one of their distinctive and exquisite courses just a few miles away - near West End. The course is now complete and it is a brilliant work in the traditional fast and firm manner.
