Overhills was a very private course Donald Ross built next to Pinehurst for the Rockefellers and a few of their friends. It was built in 1913 and was in use until the Army bought the property in 1997. It is now overgrown but restorable. The photo tour is mainly done through computer graphics which don't really capture the beauty of the place. There are some current photos of the overgrown area interspersed. Anyway, this tour will give you something of an idea of this once (and hopefully future) mighty course.
